This convenient, portable camera is enhanced by its "worry-free" rechargeable battery, simple user interface, and easy image download when you connect the camera to a computer with the supplied USB cable. Quick Start Instructions Use these instructions to get started using your new camera. For detailed operation instructions, refer to the User's Guide in the supplied CD. Charging the Battery Before using your camera, you need to charge its builtin battery. To charge the battery, connect the supplied USB cable to the camera's and computer's USB sockets. It takes about 180 minutes to charge the battery fully. When the battery is fully charged : displays. When the battery is half depleted ; displays. When the battery is low < displays. When the battery is depleted = displays. USB Cable Connect this end to your computer. Connect this end to your camera. Auto Power Off To save battery power, the camera automatically turns off if you do not operate it within 30 seconds. To resume power, press \ / ^ or ]. If you intend to leave the camera unused for a long period, slide OFF/ Ñ to OFF. The Auto Power Off function is disabled when you connect the camera with a USB cable. Display Memory Card Slot - Insert SD card here. ] - Sound button \ / ^ - Resolution and Delete button Taking Pictures 1. To turn the camera on, slide OFF/ Ñ to Ñ. 2. In low light condition, make sure the flash is ready. ? blinks when the flash is charging, and appears solid on the display when the flash is ready. 3. Hold the camera very steady with both hands. Any movement may blur your image. 4. Compose your shot so the subject you want to photograph is within the viewfinder's frame. 5. Hold the camera still and press the shutter button. The image is then recorded and the picture number in the counter decreases. Notes: • Be sure the camera has enough battery power before taking pictures. Check the battery power indicator and charge the battery when its power is low. • When taking picture with flash, hold the camera so your fingers do not block the flash. Resolution To change the resolution of the camera, press \ / ^. High resolution (1280 x 1024 pixels) is indicated by @in the display. Low resolution (640 x 480 pixels) is indicated by Ain the display. Note: High resolution photos require more memory, and decrease the total number of photos you can take. Deleting Photos 1. To delete photos from the camera's memory, press and hold down \ / ^. ^ flashes on the display, and ONE appears on the display. 2. Repeatedly press \ / ^ to change the delete option from ONE to ALL, or FOR. ONE deletes the most recently taken photo. ALL deletes all the photos on the camera. FOR formats the flash memory or SD card (if installed), as well as erasing all the information stored there. 3. The SD memory card (not supplied) is an external memory card for storing extra images besides the camera's built-in 16 MB memory. When you insert the SD card into the camera, 9 displays indicating that the images will be stored into the SD card only. Note: The camera works with one kind of memory only at a time. If the SD card is inserted, the camera's built-in memory is disabled. The camera comes with a "dummy" SD card inserted to shut out dust, dirt, etc. When the dummy SD card is inserted, all images captures will be stored in the camera's built-in memory. Attaching the Wrist Strap Insert the small loop of the wrist strap into the strap mount. Then run the long loop of the wrist strap through the small loop of the wrist strap, and pull taut. What’s Included
Before using your camera, you need to charge its built-
in battery. To charge the battery, connect the supplied
USB cable to the camera’s and computer’s USB
sockets. It takes about 180 minutes to charge the
battery fully.

Caution
: Make sure the camera is turned off before inserting the SD card.
The SD memory card (not supplied) is an external memory card for storing

Note
