3 Turn on your home theater system and play a source or test tones so you can hear audio from the rear and side surround speakers. Press the SOURCE button on each wireless receiver until you hear the surround sound audio for those channels. Note that when you press the SOURCE button, the sender that is transmitting briefly flashes it's source indicator so you can see which source is being received at the receiver. 4 When both receivers are receiving the correct surround sound source, do the following: • Turn off the wireless sender. • Switch the 4-Channel Lock switch to ENABLE. • Turn on the wireless sender. After doing so your system (sender and 2 receivers) will be in 4-channel lock mode). Notes: When your sender and 2 receivers are in 4-Channel Lock mode, other receivers in your Rocketboost network cannot select the 4 channels from the sender. This is by design, as most people would not want to listen to surround sound audio sources in other rooms besides the home theater. If you try to select a 4-channel lock mode source, depending on your system the following happens: 1) If there are no other wireless senders in the network, the power indicator on the receiver flashes five times to show that four-channel lock is active on the sender. 2) If there are other wireless senders active in the network, the source button toggles through all other sources except the sender with 4-channel lock enabled. In this case, if you want to listen to one of the sources with 4-channel lock enabled, you should disable 4-channel lock. Listening to music and using your wireless sender and receiver To listen to music: 1 Turn on the wireless sender and receiver. The power indicator LEDs should light steadily. If they are blinking you need to rejoin the sender and receiver. See "Establishing communication" on page 25. 2 Turn on the audio source connected to the wireless sender. Make sure the volume of the audio source is not muted, otherwise no audio be sent over the Rocketboost network. 3 Press the SOURCE A or B button on the wireless sender to select the source from the A or B inputs, depending on which input you want to listen to.
