LED INDICATOR The LED indicator shows the charge status of the battery pack when connected to a USB-C cable. LED FUNCTIONS CHARGE STATUS CHARGING FLASHING SOLID FULLY CHARGED • Attempt to charge above 122° F • Attempt to charge below 32° F OFF ERROR • Power supply or USB-C cable error. CHARGING THE BATTERY PACK WITH A USB-C CABLE See Figure 1. Battery packs are shipped in a low charge condition to prevent possible problems. Therefore, you should charge prior to first use. If the charger does not charge the battery pack under normal circumstances, return both the battery pack and charger to your nearest Authorized Service Center for electrical check.  Charge the battery pack only with the recommended charger or a UL listed USB source.  Refer to charger operator's manual for charging instructions or follow the instructions below for USB charging. To charge the battery pack using a UL listed USB source:  Remove the battery pack from the tool, if applicable.  Insert the USB-C cable into the battery pack as shown.  Connect the USB-C cable to a UL listed USB adaptor or power source. LED INDICATOR USB-C CABLE (NOT INCLUDED)  Make sure the adaptor or power source is connected to normal household voltage, 120 volts, AC only, 60 Hz.  Remove the USB-C cable and disconnect the adaptor or power source once the battery pack is fully charged. CHARGING A HOT BATTERY PACK When using a tool continuously, the battery pack may become hot. A hot battery pack may not flash while plugged in to charge. Charging will not begin until the battery temperature cools to within acceptable range and the LED begins to flash. If the pack does not begin to charge after 30 minutes, the battery or USB-C cable may have an error. For standalone chargers, please refer to charger operator's manual. CHARGING A COLD BATTERY PACK A cold battery pack may not flash while plugged in to charge. Charging will not begin until the battery temperature warms to within acceptable range and the LED begins to flash. If the pack does not begin to charge after 30 minutes, the battery or USB-C cable may have an error. For standalone chargers, please refer to charger operator's manual. MAINTENANCE For battery pack storage longer than 30 days:  Store the battery pack where the temperature is between 50° F to 80° F and away from moisture.  Store battery packs in a 30%-50% charged condition.  Every six months of storage, charge the pack as normal. For battery pack storage longer than 30 days:

50° F to 80° F and away from moisture.
Store battery packs in a 30%-50% charged condition.
Every six months of storage, charge the pack as normal.

FOR RECYCLING
To preserve natural resources, please recycle or
dispose of batteries properly.
This product contains lithium-ion batteries. Local,
state or federal laws may prohibit disposal of
lithium-ion batteries in ordinary trash.
Consult your local waste authority for information regarding
available recycling and/or disposal options.
WARNING!
Upon removal, cover the battery pack’s terminals with
heavy-duty adhesive tape. Do not attempt to destroy or
disassemble battery pack or remove any of its components.
Batteries must be recycled or disposed of properly. Also,
never touch both terminals with metal objects and/or body
parts as short circuit may result. Keep away from children.
Failure to comply with these warnings could result in fire
and/or serious injury.

CHARGING THE BATTERY PACK WITH A
USB-C CABLE
