Not enough line on spool. Line is worn too short. Line is tangled on spool. Cutting tall grass at ground level. SOLUTION Lubricate with silicone spray. Install more line. Refer to Line Replacement earlier in this manual. Pull lines while alternately pressing down on and releasing bump knob. Remove line from spool and rewind. Refer to Line Replacement earlier in this manual.
