To reduce the risk of injury, user must read and understand operator's manual before using this product. OPTIMIZING RUNTIME AND POWER See Figures 1 - 2. To optimize your experience when using this string trimmer, always choose the speed and cutting swath that matches your specific trimming needs. Four settings are available to optimize your performance: high speed/ 15 in. cut swath; low speed/15 in. cut swath; high speed/13 in. cut swath; and low speed/13 in. cut swath. If you need maximum power:  Choose the high setting (A) on the power head and the 15 in. cut swath (C) on the string trimmer attachment. If you need maximum runtime:  Choose the low setting (B) on the power head and the 13 in. cut swath (D) on the string trimmer attachment.
