TROUBLESHOOTING PROBLEM Line will not advance when using the auto-feed head POSSIBLE CAUSE Line is welded to itself. Not enough line on spool. Line is worn too short. Line is tangled on spool. SOLUTION Lubricate with silicone spray. Install more line. Refer to Line Replacement earlier in this manual. Pull line while pressing button. Remove line from spool and rewind. Refer to Line Replacement earlier in this manual. Grass wraps around boom housing and string head Motor fails to start when switch trigger is depressed. Cutting tall grass at ground level. Battery is not secure. Battery is not charged. Cut tall grass from the top down to prevent wrapping. To secure the battery pack, make sure the latches on each side of the battery pack snap into place. Charge the battery pack according to the instructions included with your model.
