WARNING: Always remove battery pack from the tool when you are assembling parts, making adjustments, cleaning, or when not in use. Removing battery pack will prevent accidental starting that could cause serious personal injury. WARNING: Always wear eye protection with side shields marked to comply with ANSI Z87.1. Failure to do so could result in objects being thrown into your eyes and other possible serious injuries. WARNING: Do not use any attachments or accessories not recommended by the manufacturer of this product. The use of attachments or accessories not recommended can result in serious personal injury. APPLICATIONS You may use this product for the purposes listed below:  Clamping PEX pinch clamp rings WARNING: Battery tools are always in operating condition. Remove the battery pack when not in use or carrying at your side. INSTALLING/REMOVING BELT CLIP See Figure 1, page 8.  Remove the battery pack.  Squeeze the prongs together as shown.  Insert the prongs into the belt clip slot on either side of the tool.  When the belt clip is fully inserted into the slot, release the prongs.  To remove, squeeze the prongs together and pull the belt clip out of the slot. GAP CHECK TOOL STORAGE See Figure 2, page 8. Gap check tool storage is located in the base of the tool near the battery port. INSTALLING/REMOVING BATTERY PACK See Figure 3, page 8.  Insert the battery pack into the product as shown.  Make sure the latches on each side of the battery pack snap into place and the battery pack is secured in the product before beginning operation.  Depress the latches to remove the battery pack. For complete charging instructions, see the operator's manuals for your battery pack and charger. CHECKING THE GAP BETWEEN THE JAWS See Figure 4, page 8. Before each use of the clamping tool, check the gap between the jaws to ensure a complete clamping cycle.  Remove the battery pack to remove the gap check tool from its storage area.  Reinstall the battery pack. NOTE: The gap check tool has a thin end (0.8 mm) and a thick end (1.2 mm).  Insert either end of the gap check tool into the gap test slot. 5 - English

APPLICATIONS

WARNING:

INSTALLING/REMOVING BELT CLIP
See Figure 1, page 8.
Remove the battery pack.
Squeeze the prongs together as shown.
Insert the prongs into the belt clip slot on either side of
the tool.
When the belt clip is fully inserted into the slot, release
the prongs.
To remove, squeeze the prongs together and pull the belt
clip out of the slot.
GAP CHECK TOOL STORAGE
See Figure 2, page 8.
Gap check tool storage is located in the base of the tool
near the battery port.
INSTALLING/REMOVING BATTERY PACK
See Figure 3, page 8.
Insert the battery pack into the product as shown.
Make sure the latches on each side of the battery pack
snap into place and the battery pack is secured in the
product before beginning operation.
Depress the latches to remove the battery pack.
For complete charging instructions, see the operator’s
manuals for your battery pack and charger.
CHECKING THE GAP BETWEEN THE JAWS
See Figure 4, page 8.
Before each use of the clamping tool, check the gap between
the jaws to ensure a complete clamping cycle.
Remove the battery pack to remove the gap check tool
from its storage area.
Reinstall the battery pack.
NOTE:
The gap check tool has a thin end (0.8 mm) and a
thick end (1.2 mm).
Insert either end of the gap check tool into the gap test
slot.
OPERATION
