MAINTENANCE This product contains no serviceable parts. GENERAL MAINTENANCE Avoid using solvents when cleaning plastic parts. Most plastics are susceptible to damage from various types of commercial solvents and may be damaged by their use. Use clean cloths to remove dirt, dust, oil, grease, etc. WARNING: Do not at any time let brake fluids, gasoline, petroleumbased products, penetrating oils, etc., come in contact with plastic parts. Chemicals can damage, weaken or destroy plastic which could result in serious personal injury. CLEANING/REPLACING THE FILTER See Figure 13, page 10.  Remove the battery pack and the dust bowl.  Remove the filter assembly by pulling it out of the dust bowl.  Shake or lightly brush any dust or dirt off the filter ­assembly.  Remove the prefilter by lightly pulling on one of the tabs and lifting away from the assembly. The prefilter may be rinsed if necessary.  Empty the dust bowl; wash if necessary. Before reattaching to the vacuum, make sure all pieces are completely dry.  Attach the prefilter to the filter by inserting the base of the filter into the indent of the prefilter and snapping the tabs into place. NOTE: Carefully spread the tabs to help align and snap them into place.  Install the filter assembly into the dust bowl. Reattach the dust bowl by aligning the slot on the bottom of dust bowl with the tab on the bottom of motor housing, then snap the two sections together. CLEANING/REPLACING THE FILTER
See Figure 13, page 10.
Remove the battery pack and the dust bowl.
