MAINTENANCE n Turn off the pressure washer and shut off the water supply. Pull trigger to release water pressure. n Unplug the pressure washer. n Remove the nozzle from the spray wand. WARNING: NEVER remove nozzles without first turning off the motor, relieving the water pressure in the trigger handle, and locking the lock out on the trigger handle. NEVER point the nozzle at your face or at others. The quick-connect feature contains small springs that could eject the nozzle with some force. Failure to follow these instructions could result in an eye injury or other serious personal injury. n To free any foreign materials clogging or restricting the nozzle, blow out or remove debris with a straightened paper clip or fine needle. n Using a garden hose, flush debris out of nozzle by back flushing (running the water through the nozzle backwards or from the outside to the inside). n Reconnect the nozzle to the spray wand. n Reinstall the garden hose and connect the unit to the power supply. STORING THE PRESSURE WASHER See Figure 15. NOTE: Regular use of pump protector will give you better performance of the unit and increase the life of the pump. See the Replacement Parts List for available sizes and part numbers of these items and call customer service to order. Store in a dry, covered area where the weather can't damage it. It is important to store this product in a frost-free area. Always empty water from all hoses, the pump, and the detergent bucket before storing. n Make sure the on/off switch is in the OFF position. n Unplug the pressure washer and store the power cord using the hook-and-loop strap. n Disconnect both the high pressure hose and the garden hose from the pump. n Neatly coil the high pressure hose and store with hook and loop strap. n Tilt the unit as shown to allow any remaining water in the pump to drain from the water inlet. NOTICE: The use of a pump protector is required after each use and before storing to prevent cold weather and seal damage during storage. Failure to use pump protector will void your warranty. n Turn the spray wand counterclockwise to remove it from the trigger handle. Store the unassembled spray wand and trigger handle in their storage areas. n Store the unit and accessories in an area that does not reach freezing temperatures. Do not store near furnace or other sources of heat that could dry out the pump seals. 15 - English

MAINTENANCE
Turn off the pressure washer and shut off the water
supply.
Pull trigger to release water pressure.
Unplug the pressure washer.
Remove the nozzle from the spray wand.
