OPERATION LED FUNCTIONS FOR BATTERY CHARGING See Figure 2, page 7. BATTERY PACK RED LED GREEN ORANGE LED LED Power On ACTION Plugged into AC power supply without battery ON pack OFF OFF Ready to charge battery pack. Testing Hot battery pack Cold battery pack OFF Deeply discharged When battery pack reaches cooled temperature, charger begins charge mode. OFF ON When battery pack reaches warmed temperature, charger begins charge mode. Charger conditions battery until normal voltage is reached, then begins charge mode. Error Error Flashing Flashing OFF Battery pack or charger error. • Try to repeat the conditions a second time by removing and reinstalling the battery pack. If the LED Error status repeats a second time, try charging a different battery. • If a different battery charges normally, dispose of the pack that received the Error (see your battery pack manual for instructions). • If a different battery also indicates Error, the charger should be replaced. Charging Battery Pack Fast charging OFF Flashing OFF Battery is being charged. Battery Pack is Ready Battery full OFF ON* OFF Battery charging is complete. *Charger LED will remain ON for approximately 5 minutes when charging is complete. When the battery is 100% charged, the battery LEDs will all turn off. This product has a Three-year Limited Warranty.
