MAINTENANCE WARNING: When servicing, use only identical replacement parts. Use of any other parts may create a hazard or cause product damage. WARNING: Always wear eye protection with side shields marked to comply with ANSI Z87.1. Failure to do so could result in objects being thrown into your eyes and other possible serious injuries. GENERAL MAINTENANCE Avoid using solvents when cleaning plastic parts. Most plastics are susceptible to damage from various types of commercial solvents and may be damaged by their use. Use clean cloths to remove dirt, dust, oil, grease, etc. WARNING: Do not at any time let brake fluids, gasoline, petroleumbased products, penetrating oils, etc., come in contact with plastic parts. Chemicals can damage, weaken or destroy plastic which may result in serious personal injury. REPLACING THE BULB See Figure 13, page 14. Turn off the unit and allow the bulb to cool Rotate the lens cover counterclockwise. Remove lens cover and lens. Push bulb in slightly and turn it clockwise to release it from bulb socket. Remove bulb NOTE: The spring should remain attached to the worklight as shown. Place replacement bulb into bulb socket. Push bulb in slightly and turn it counterclockwise to secure it. Return the lens and secure the lens cover by turning it counterclockwise until it is securely in place. REPLACING THE 12V ADAPTOR FUSE See Figure 14, page 14. The 12 V adaptor contains a 250 V 10 Amp fuse to protect the adaptor and charger from unexpected power surges. To replace the fuse: Remove the fuse cap from the top of the 12 V adaptor. Replace old fuse with new one. If spring comes out, be sure to reinsert it before replacing new fuse. CAUTION: Do not use a higher rated fuse other than the specified amperage. This could cause damage to the product. Place fuse cap on top of fuse and thread back onto adaptor. Tighten securely. 11 - English
