Delete all (Menu 5.4) Use this menu to delete messages in each message folder all at once. 1. Press [ ] to select the message folders to be cleared. Pressing the key twice displays the message types so that you can specify the ones to be deleted. 2. Press . 3. Press [ ] to select With protection to delete locked messages, and then press . 4. Text message (Menu 5.5.1) You can configure default SMS settings. • Send settings: set up the options for sending SMS messages: Reply path: allow recipients to reply to you through your SMS server. Delivery report: set the network to inform you when your messages are delivered. Character support: select a character encoding type. When you select Automatic, the phone switches the encoding type from GSM-alphabet to Unicode if you enter a Unicode character. Using Unicode encoding will reduce the maximum number of characters in a message to about half. If this menu is not shown, your phone provides automatic character encoding by default.
