advanced recording Focus The camcorder usually focuses on a subject automatically (auto focus). When the camcorder is turned on, the Focus function will always be set to auto-focus. You can also set the Focus function to manual and focus on a subject manually. PRECHECK! Select the record ( / ) mode by pressing the MODE button. page 27 1. However, it may not always obtain the correct focus, depending on the recording conditions. If the camcorder does not focus correctly, use the manual focus mode.
