Installing Speakers Speakers can be installed either as stand or wall-mounted type speakers. Installing Wall-Mounted Speakers 1 2 Turn the speaker stand as illustrated. Fix two screws (not supplied) to the wall. Fit the speaker hole into the screw on the wall to hang (mount) the speaker. 3 Mount front and rear speakers. • Center speakers cannot be mounted on the wall. 4 Installation is complete. Note • Ensure that the speakers are securely mounted on the wall. Insecure installation may cause injuries or damages. 15 Connecting the Video Out to TV ENG Choose one of the four methods for connecting to a TV. CONNECTIONS METHOD 1 (supplied) Red METHOD 2 Green Blue METHOD 3 Blue Red Green HT-P50 METHOD 4 TV METHOD 1 Composite Video ....... (Good Quality) - Connect the supplied video cable from the VIDEO OUT jack on the back panel of the system to the VIDEO IN jack on your TV. METHOD 2 S-Video ....... (Good Quality) - If your television is equipped with an S-Video input, connect an S-Video cable (not supplied) from the S-VIDEO OUT jack on the back panel of the system to the S-VIDEO IN jack on your television. METHOD 3 Component ....... (Better Quality) - If your television is equipped with Component Video inputs, connect a component video cable (not supplied) from the Pr, Pb and Y jacks on the back panel of the system to the corresponding jacks on your TV. METHOD 4 HDMI ....... (Best Quality) - Connect the HDMI out to the HDMI input on your TV. Note • When the Progressive scan mode is selected, the VIDEO and S-VIDEO outputs do not feed any signal. 16
