Functions ( ) Auto Focus type You can select your preferred Focus Area according to the shooting conditions. [Center AF] ( ) : The rectangular area in the center of the LCD monitor will be focused [Multi AF] ( ) : This camera selects all of Focus Area available AF point from the 9 AF points. Back Move [Selection AF] ( ) : Focus on the desired position of the LCD monitor. [Tracking AF] ( ) : The focus moves along with the movements of a subject. Ä When the camera focuses on the subject, the auto focus frame turns to green. When the camera doesn't focus on the subject, the auto focus frame turns to red. Ŷ How to Enable Selection AF After setting [Selection AF], press the OK button and then the screen for setting the location of a focus frame will appear. Press the Up/Down/Left/Right button to move the focus mark to the desired position. Press the shutter button to enable Selection AF. Once setting is complete, the focus mark will be ¿xed at the position set. Focus Mark Press the OK button once again to change the location of the focus frame and the focus frame will appear again. Ä Even if you turn off the power and turn on it again, the previous setting will be maintained. Ä [Selection AF] is not available when operating the [Face Detection] function. Flash Intensity You can control Àash intensity. (You can set Àash intensity within the range of +/- 2EV in intervals of 1EV.) [-2], [-1], [0], [+1], [+2] Flash EVC -2 -1 0 +1 +2 Back Move Ɣ The [Flash EVC] function is not available in the [Smart Auto], [Beauty Shot], [Scene] and [Movie], [Night] modes. Ɣ If the subject is too close or the sensitivity is too high, changing the value to a negative value (-) may not have any effect. Ɣ If the Àash intensity is out of the control range because the exposure value is too high or low, the camera may not operate properly. 053
