SAMSUNG SMART HOME SETTING GUIDE CHECKPOINTS Please read through the checkpoints below before contacting the service center. PROBLEM ACTION I couldn't find the Samsung Smart Home app at Google Play. I installed the refrigerator app from Google Play but it failed to monitor the refrigerator. • The Samsung Smart Home app is available only on Android OS 4.0 (ICS) or higher devices. • The Samsung Smart Home app is available only with Samsung smart devices released in 2014. I installed the Samsung Smart Home app but it failed to connect to my refrigerator. • Refer to the user manual of the refrigerator and configure the network settings via Easy Connection. Login fails with my Samsung account. An error message appears while I make a connection using Easy Connection. • To run the app, you must have a registered Samsung account. You can use your current Samsung account if you already have one, or create a new one. • Check the Internet connection status • Easy Connection may fail temporarily because of the distance between devices or because there are obstacles in-between.
