Playing back a Tape 1 To watch a tape you recorded. 1 Playback function works in PLAYER mode only. 1 There are two ways to watch a tape; To watch with LCD : recommended for outdoor use. To watch with TV monitor : recommended for indoor use. To watch with LCD 1 It is practical to view a tape using the LCD in a car or outdoors. To watch with TV monitor 1 It is practical to view a tape using a TV monitor while indoors. 1 To play a tape back, the TV must feature a compatible color system. 1 We recommend that you use an AC Power Adaptor for the power source of the camcorder. Connecting to a TV which has an Audio and Video input jack 1 Use the Audio/Video cable supplied with your camcorder. The yellow plug : Video The white plug : Audio(L) The red plug : Audio(R) Note - You can use the S-VIDEO cable (supplied with accessories) to obtain better quality pictures if you have an S-VIDEO connector on your TV. - Even if you use S-video cable, you must connect an audio cable. - While playing back on a TV screen, close the LCD panel. Otherwise, picture distortion may occur. Playing back a Tape
To watch with LCD
It is practical to view a tape using the LCD in a car or outdoors.
To watch with TV monitor
It is practical to view a tape using a TV monitor while indoors.
To play a tape back, the TV must feature a compatible color system.
We recommend that you use an AC Power Adaptor for the power source of
the camcorder.
Connecting to a TV which has an Audio and Video input jack
Use the Audio/Video cable supplied with your camcorder.
The yellow plug : Video
The white plug : Audio(L)
The red plug : Audio(R)
