Pause Dial from Contacts • If you voice dial a contact that contains (two-second) T pause(s) simply wait for the pauses to pass and the dialing to complete. • If you voice dial a contact that contains (hard) P pause(s), wait for the appropriate prompt(s) from the number you are calling (credit card number, bank account number, or other) and enter the appropriate response(s). 1. If you stored the number using 2-second pause(s), simply find the Contacts entry, highlight the number, and press . (For more information, refer to "Finding a Contacts Entry" on page 38.) 2. If you stored the number using Wait(s), find and dial the number from Contacts and wait for the appropriate prompt from the dialed number. 3. Press to resume dialing the number. Making a Call using Speed Dial You can store phone numbers and contact names in your phone's Contacts list. Speed Dialing lets you quickly and easily dial any contact in your Contacts list by using that contact's location number in the list. You can assign and change location (speed dial) numbers for your contacts. (See "Assigning a Speed Dial Location" on page 43.) One-Touch Dialing Speed Dial numbers 2 through 9 are special One-Touch dialing numbers. You can call the phone numbers stored in your phone's Contacts list and assigned Speed Dial numbers 2 through 9 by pressing and holding a single key. Example: For Speed Dial number 3, press and hold until the name and number display and the number dials. Two-Touch Dialing Memory locations 10 through 99 are special Two-Touch dialing locations. Example: For location number 13, briefly press , then press and hold until the name and number displays and the number dials. Three-Touch Dialing Memory locations 100 through 999 are special Three-Touch dialing locations. Pause Dial from Contacts

If you voice dial a contact that contains (two-second) T pause(s)
simply wait for the pauses to pass and the dialing to complete.

If you voice dial a contact that contains (hard) P pause(s), wait for the
appropriate prompt(s) from the number you are calling (credit card
number, bank account number, or other) and enter the appropriate
response(s).

If you stored the number using 2-second pause(s), simply
find the Contacts entry, highlight the number, and press

If you stored the number using Wait(s), find and dial the
number from Contacts and wait for the appropriate prompt
from the dialed number.
3.
Press
to resume dialing the number.
Making a Call using Speed Dial
You can store phone numbers and contact names in your phone’s
Contacts list. Speed Dialing lets you quickly and easily dial any
contact in your Contacts list by using that contact’s location
number in the list. You can assign and change location (speed
dial) numbers for your contacts. (See
“Assigning a Speed Dial
Location”
on page 43.)
One-Touch Dialing
Speed Dial numbers 2 through 9 are special One-Touch dialing
numbers. You can call the phone numbers stored in your phone’s
Contacts list and assigned Speed Dial numbers 2 through 9 by
pressing and holding a single key.
Example:
For Speed Dial number 3, press and hold
until the
name and number display and the number dials.
