By selecting Use GPS satellites, you are allowing access to all location information by any third party through web access or any software or peripheral components you choose to install, download, add, or attach to the device or any other means. • Location and Google search: allows Google to use your location data for improved search results and other services. Important! By selecting Location and Google search, you are allowing Google's location service to collect anonymous location data. Some data may be stored on your device. Collection may occur even when n o apps are running. VPN Use the VPN settings menu to set up and manage Virtual Private Networks (VPNs). Note: You must set up a screen unlock PIN or password in order to use a VPN. Adding a VPN 1. From the Home screen, tap ➔ Settings ➔ Wireless and network ➔ More settings ➔ VPN. 2. Touch Add VPN network to set up a connection to a VPN, using the following settings: • Name: Enter a name for the VPN connection. • Type: Choose the type of VPN from the drop-down list. • Server address: Enter the IP address of the VPN server. • PPP encryption (MPPE): Touch to enable or disable encryption. • Show advanced options: Touch to show more options.
