Menu functions Settings (Menu 9) Settings (Menu 9) The Settings menu provides you with various setting options to customise the phone to your preferences and needs. You can also reset the settings to their default status. To access this menu, press in Idle mode and select Settings. Time and date (Menu 9.1) Use this menu to change the time and date displayed on your phone. Before setting the time and date, specify your time zone in the World clock menu.p. 46 • Time: enter the current time. • AM/PM: select AM or PM in 12-hour time format. • Time format: select a time format. • Date: enter the current date. • Date format: select a date format. • Calendar starting day: set which day of the week the calendar starts with. • Auto update: activate the auto time update feature. Your phone will read the MCC (Mobile Country Code) from the network and automatically update the current time for the country that you are in when you travel abroad. Time information may not be updated when you move to one time zone to another within a country.
