Menu functions • Set date: enter the current date. • Date format: select the date format. Phone settings (Menu 9.2) Many different features of your phone's system can be customised to suit your preferences. Language (Menu 9.2.1) Use this menu to select one of several languages for the display text. Greeting message (Menu 9.2.2) Use this menu to enter the greeting that is displayed briefly when the phone is switched on. Short cut (Menu 9.2.3) You can use the Navigation keys as shortcut keys to access specific menus directly from Idle mode. Use this menu to assign a shortcut menu to a key. Using shortcut options Press to access the following options: • Change: assign or change a shortcut menu. • Remove: deactivate the shortcut assignment. • Remove all: deactivate all shortcut assignments. Side key (Menu 9.2.4) Use this menu to set what the phone does when you press and hold [ / ] during an incoming call. • Mute: mute the call ringer. • Reject: reject the incoming call. Extra settings (Menu 9.2.5) You can turn the automatic redialling or answering feature on or off, and lock the exposed keys. • Auto redial: set the phone to make up to ten attempts to redial a phone number after an unsuccessful call. • Anykey answer: answer an incoming call by pressing any key, except [ ], , and [ / ].
