Sound Configure the sound used to indicate notifications, screen touches, and other interactions. Change the Sound Mode You can switch between sound modes, while preserving the individual sound settings you have made. 1. From a Home screen, tap Apps > Settings. 2. Tap Sound > Sound mode, and then choose a mode: • Sound: Use the sounds, vibrations, and volume levels you have chosen in Sound settings for notifications and alerts. • Mute: Mute all sounds and notifications. Adjust the Volume Set the system volume level and default volume for call ringtones, notifications, and other audio. Tip: You can also set the system volume from a Home screen by pressing the Volume key. 1. From a Home screen, tap Apps > Settings. 2. Tap Sound > Volume. 3. Drag the sliders to set the default volume for: • Notifications • Media • System Change the Notification Sound Choose a sound for notifications, such as for Messages, Calendar, and Email. 1. From a Home screen, tap Apps > Settings. 2. Tap Sound > Notification sounds and configure the following options: • Default notification sound: Choose a default sound for all notifications. • Calendar notifications: Choose a sound for calendar notifications, and enable or disable vibration alert. • Email notifications: Configure email account notifications. An email account must be configured for this option to be available. System Sounds Set various other system sound options. 1. From a Home screen, tap Apps > Settings. 2. Tap Sound, and tap to enable each option: • Touch sounds: Play tones when you touch or tap the screen to make selections. • Screen lock sounds: Play a sound when you unlock the screen. • Charging sound: Play a sound when a charger is connected. Change the Sound Mode
You can switch between sound modes, while

1. ±rom a Home screen, tap
Apps

Sound
: Use the sounds, vibrations, and
volume levels you have chosen in Sound
settings For notifcations and alerts.

Mute
: Mute all sounds and notifcations.
Adjust the Volume
Set the system volume level and deFault volume For
call ringtones, notifcations, and other audio.
Tip
: You can also set the system volume from a Home
screen by pressing the

key.

Change the Notifcation Sound
Choose a sound For notifcations, such as For

: Choose a deFault
sound For all notifcations.

notifcations. An email account must be
confgured For this option to be available.
