Windows® Media™ Player 9 Windows Media Player 9 for Smartphone continues to build on the capabilities of WMP 8.5 with support of Windows Media Player 9 audio and video codecs. Windows Media player lets you enjoy music and video in stereo, whether saved to your Smartphone, SD Card, or streaming from the Internet. You can download files with your PC and then transfer them to your Smartphone, or download files directly to your Smartphone using wireless Internet services. Media files are stored in your Local Content folder. Opening Media Player files 1. At the Home Screen, press the left soft key ( ) Start, then press until More... is highlighted. 2. Press , then press until Windows Media is highlighted. 3. Press . Windows Media Player opens to the Local Content folder. 4. Press or to browse through the list of media files until the file you wish to open is highlighted. 5. Press the left soft key ( ) Play to play the selected file. Tip: You can also play MP3 files in Windows Media Player. Media Player Controls The following navigation keys perform the functions listed while Windows Media Player is playing a file. • Play/Pause the selected media player file. • Press and hold to fast forward to the end of a Windows Media Player file. 62
