Setting the focus distance a p A h n d v To take sharp photos, select the appropriate focus according to your distance from the subject. 1 In Shooting mode, press [M]. Normal (AF) 2 Select an option. t Try to hold the camera very still to prevent blurry photos. t Turn off the flash if the distance to the subject is less than 40 cm. Option Description Normal (AF): Focus on a subject farther than 40 cm (farther than 80 cm when using zoom). Macro: Focus on a subject 5-40 cm (50-80 cm when using zoom). Auto Macro: Focus on a subject farther than 5 cm (farther than 50 cm when using zoom). Manual Focus: Focus on a subject by manually adjusting the focus distance. Try to hold the camera very still to prevent blurry photos.
