Troubleshooting Information codes If the washer fails to operate, you may see an information code on the screen. Check the table below and try the suggestions. Code Upper washer Lower washer 1 1C 1C - dC 1 dC - 1 dC4 - 1 dC1 dC1 1 LC LC Action Check the water level sensor. • Power off and then power the washer on after 2-3 minutes, and then try again. • Depending on the model, the drain system drains water automatically. The POWER and START/PAUSE buttons may be disabled during this process. The door is open. • Close the door, and then press START/PAUSE to resume operation. The top door is open. • Close the top door, and then press START/PAUSE to resume operation. The protective cover is open. • Close the protective cover, and then press START/PAUSE to resume operation.
