Menu functions Extra settings (Menu 9.2.6) You can turn the automatic redialling or answering feature on or off. • Auto redial: set the phone to make up to ten attempts to redial a phone number after an unsuccessful call. • Active flip: answer an incoming call by opening the phone. • Anykey answer: answer an incoming call by pressing any key, except and [ ]. Display settings (Menu 9.3) Use this menu to change settings for the display and backlight. Wallpaper (Menu 9.3.1) You can set up the idle screen on the display. • Main display: select an image or video clip to be displayed on the main display. • Text position: select a text position. If you don't want to display text in Idle mode, select Off. 62 • Text mode: select a font style. • Text colour: select a font colour. • Graphic logo: set the phone to display a graphic icon instead of the service provider's logo on the idle screen. This is only available if a graphic icon has been received in a message. Skin (Menu 9.3.2) You can select a skin colour pattern for Menu mode. Brightness (Menu 9.3.3) You can adjust the brightness of the display for varying lighting conditions. Contrast (Menu 9.3.4) You can adjust the contrast of each display for varying lighting conditions. Back light (Menu 9.3.5) You can select the length of time the backlight stays on or the length of time the display stays on in Dim mode, in which the backlight is off.
