Phone Basics Features of Your Phone Congratulations on the purchase of your phone. The IP-830w by Samsung is lightweight, easy-to-use, and reliable, and it also offers many significant features and service options. The following list previews some of those features and provides page numbers where you can find out more: ⅷ Digital dual-band capability allows you to make and receive calls while on the Nationwide Sprint PCS Network and to roam on other 1900 and 800 MHz digital networks where Sprint has implemented roaming agreements (page 62); and to make and receive calls on compatible 850 and 1900 MHz GSM digital networks while roaming internationally in GSM mode. ⅷ Sprint PCS Mail, SMS Text Messaging (page 190), and SMS Voice Messaging provide quick and convenient messaging capabilities. ⅷ Sprint PCS® Voice Command lets you dial phone numbers by speaking someone's name or the digits of that person's phone number (page 200). ⅷ The built-in Scheduler offers several personal information management features to help you manage your busy lifestyle (page 105). ⅷ Your phone is equipped with a Location feature for use in connection with location-based services that may be available in the future (page 56). ⅷ Speed dial lets you dial phone numbers with one or two keypresses (page 28).
