Automatic Level Control (ALC) recording RECORDING The ALC circuit adjusts the recording input level automatically. No adjustments are required. A) RECORDING FROM THE BUILT-IN RADIO BEAT CANCEL switch When recording a radio program, an irritating 2 "whistling" sound may sometimes be heard. If this occurs, select position 1, 2 or 3.
