NOTE:

1. Setthe hand
control
switch
to STOP.
2. Press
the POWER
bufton.
3. Loada cassette.
4. Press
the RESET
button
to setthe counter
to
"000".

The tape counter
helps
you to quickly
locate
recorded
selection
for
playback.
5. set the DlcT/coNFbutton
to DlcT or coNF.

in a comfortable
position

the unitin the center

6. Setthe handcontrol
switch
to DICT'

circuit
in the unit will keepthe level
at its
optimum.
7. Press
the INDEX
button
on the hand
controlto
mark
important
segments
of recording.
The unitrecords
a beep
toneon thetape.

searching,

tape
stops
briefly
ateach
index
signal
sothat
you can easily
locate
important
recordings'
8. To pause
while
recording,
set
the hand
control
switch
to STOP.
To record
again,
setthe switch
to DICT.
