Correct hold Incorrect hold i Grip the camera by wrapping the fingers of the right hand, from the little finger to the middle finger, around the camera, with the index finger above the lens. i Insert the fingers of the right hand (little finger to index finger) in the grip belt, gripping the camera by wrapping the little finger to the middle finger around the camera body. A finger is blocking the lens or flash. Make sure that the lens and flash are not blocked by your fingers or the grip belt. * For shooting vertically oriented still images, you can set the shooting orientation to the vertical (portrait) format (page 62). For best results
Hold the camera securely, keeping your elbows close to your body and
making sure the camera is stable.
Make sure that the lens and flash are not blocked by your fingers or the grip
belt.

For shooting vertically oriented still images, you can set the shooting
orientation to the vertical (portrait) format (page 62).
