Problem No image or sound. Connecting to a TV Image editing Charging The edge of the image is cut off. You cannot edit or rotate an image. The battery pack is not charging. Misc. The "Image is protected" message appears and the file cannot be deleted. Cause Action The camera is not correctly connected to the TV. The TV input is not set correctly. This is a characteristic of the TV. The protect mode is set. Follow the instructions to make the connection correctly. Set the input on the TV to "VIDEO". Not a malfunction. Cancel the protect mode. Correctly insert the battery pack in the charger. You have attempted to delete a file that is protected from accidental erasure.
