SETUP INSTALLING THE CARD Be sure to format a newly purchased card or one that was used in another device before using it in your camera (pages 122 and 133). If an unformatted card is used, the card itself may become unusable. 1 With the card slot cover lock pushed toward the [UNLOCK] side... UNLOCK 1 3 Insert the card into the card slot Card slot 2 2 Open the card slot cover 5 Close the card slot cover until it clicks h Close the card slot cover securely by pushing the card slot cover until the red part is not showing. The red part is showing UNLOCK PUSH HERE UNLOCK PUSH HERE 4 Insert the card until it clicks into place English 22

Insert the card until it
clicks into place

Close the card slot cover until it clicks

the red part is not showing.
