INTRODUCTION Modern design convector heater with three heat settings of 750/1250/2000W for gradual control of heating elements. Rotary controlled room thermostat maintains ambient temperature at preset level, with the addition of a thermal cut-off and overheat protection. Features hard-wearing feet to allow for maximum stability. Slimline, sturdy construction and high quality finish make this unit suitable for home, light industrial and office environments. To fit the feet, align them as in fig.1 and secure with the A self tapping screws provided. 5. OPERATION 5.1. 5.2. 5.3. 5.4. 5.5. 5.6. 5.7. ‰ 8 Place the heater in a suitable position in the area you require to heat. fig.2 Allow a minimum of 50cm between the heater and adjacent objects such as furniture etc. Plug the heater into the mains supply. Turn the thermostat knob (fig.2.A) to a high setting. SELECTING THE HEAT OUTPUT (fig.2) Choose the required heat output by selecting the appropriate marked position (Off, I, II, III). Low setting (position I) (750W) Medium setting (position II) (1250W) High setting ((position III) (2000W) USING THE THERMOSTAT (fig.2.A) Once the required room temperature has been achieved, turn the thermostat down slowly in the direction of the min. setting until the heat output switch light goes out. The heater will then keep the surrounding air at the set temperature by switching on and off at intervals. You may reset the thermostat at any time. SAFETY CUT OUT FEATURE The heater is fitted with a thermostatic safety cut out which will turn the heater off automatically should the airflow become blocked or if the heater has a technical malfunction. Should this happen, switch the heater off and unplug it from the mains power supply. WARNING! In such a case the heater will be very hot. DO NOT connect the heater to the power supply again until the reason the safety cutout activated has been identified. Allow the heater to cool completely before handling and then check the air inlet and outlet for obstructions before attempting to switch the unit back on. If the cause is not obvious return the heater to your local Sealey stockist for servicing. 6. MAINTENANCE ‰ 6.1. 6.2. WARNING: Before attempting any maintenance ensure the unit is unplugged from the mains power supply and that it is cool. Clean the unit with a soft dry cloth. DO NOT use abrasives or solvents. Periodically check the air inlet and outlet to ensure the air way is clear. ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools, accessories and packaging should be sorted, taken to a recycling centre and disposed of in a manner which is compatible with the environment. When the product becomes completely unserviceable and requires disposal, drain any fluids (if applicable) into approved containers and dispose of the product and fluids according to local regulations. REGISTER YOUR PURCHASE HERE WEEE REGULATIONS Dispose of this product at the end of its working life in compliance with the EU Directive on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE). 4. ASSEMBLY
4.1.
To fit the feet, align them as in fig.1 and secure with the
self tapping screws provided.
5. OPERATION
5.1.
Place the heater in a suitable position in the area you require to heat.
5.2.
Allow a minimum of 50cm between the heater and adjacent objects such as furniture etc.
5.3.
Plug the heater into the mains supply.
5.4.
Turn the thermostat knob (fig.2.A) to a high setting.
