HD 424 are high quality, dynamic headphones built so as to be as "open" as possible. By using extremely small magnetic systems the large exterior surface of the headset membrane is hardly obstructed, and the ear can quite easily "hear through it" without any disturbance. In this way the headphones create a feeling of "openness" which makes the open Sennheiser headphones unique. The soft ear cushions, the notchadjustable headband, low headband pressure and low weight make the headphones very comfortable to wear. As with all headphones the HD 424 also features the well-tried and extraordinary sturdy steel connection wiring. So. that the stereo signals also reach the ear from the correct side, we have indicated the systems on the mini-plugs with R = righl (rod) and = left (yellow). Please pay attention to this when putting on the headphones. The HD 424 is available in the following models: HD 424: Stereo headphones with universal plug PX 1 HD 424-3: Stereo headphones with 6.3 mm jack: impedance: 50 Ohm HO 424-13: Stereo headphones with 6.3 mm jack; impedance: 600 Ohm PX1 headsets are required simultaneously and only one connecting socket is available, as many dice-5-plugs as desired can be plugged onto one another when the front part of the universal plug haS been removed.
