Cleaning and caring for the HDI 830 Cleaning and caring for the HDI 830 Cleaning the receiver CAUTION! Liquids can damage the electronics of the device. Liquids entering the housing of the device can cause a short circuit and damage the electronics. ̈ Keep all liquids far away from this device. ̈ Do not use any cleaning agents or solvents. ̈ Clean your receiver using only a slightly damp cloth. Cleaning the earpads ̈ Carefully remove the earpads E from the receiver. E ̈ Clean the earpads E using warm soapy water or an ultrasound cleaning device and rinse thoroughly. ̈ Dry the earpads E. ̈ Put the earpads back on the receiver. Note: For reasons of hygiene, you should replace the earpads E from time to time. Spare earpads are available from your Sennheiser dealer (see "Accessories and spare parts" on page 10). 8
