SKM 5200 RF Wireless Systems | 5000 Series Hand-Held Transmitters Architectural Specifications The wireless microphone transmitter shall operate in the UHF band with a switching bandwidth of 36 MHz. For improved sound quality and best possible signal-to-noise ratio the transmitter shall use technologies such as switchable low-cut filter, optimized PLL synthesizer and HiDyn plus™ noise reduction. The transmitter shall be frequency agile with up to 7200 frequencies programmable in 5 KHz steps. One preconfigured, intermodulation-free bank shall be available to ensure multiple systems do not interfere with one another. In addition one user bank shall allow for customized setups with freely selectable frequencies in order to avoid RF interference. The transmitting power shall be selectable between 10 mW and 50 mW. The operating time shall reach 8 hours with two AA batteries or rechargeable battery pack. The transmitter shall be menu-driven with an LC display showing current frequency, frequency bank and channel number, metering of AF level, equalization settings, battery and lock status. Audio input sensitivity shall be adjustable in steps of 1 dB covering a range of 70 dB. Programming of the transmitter shall be done via menu controls or infra-red synchronization with the receiver. A range of microphone capsules shall be available. The wireless bodypack transmitter specified shall be a Sennheiser SK 5200 Handheld Transmitter.
