REMEDY (not a malfunction) • Clean or replace the HEPA filter if they appear to be heavily soiled. (Refer to E-11, E-12) A clicking or ticking sound is heard from the unit. The discharged air has an odor. • Clicking or ticking sound may be audible when the unit is generating ions. • Check to see if the HEPA filter is heavily soiled. • Plasmacluster Air Purifiers may produce a slight odor. This is normal and is a result of the Plasmacluster Ions refreshing the air.
