FRINGE FOOT #250013901 M/C Code: MB, CA - CC, EB The Fringe Foot is used to create loopy surface texture with a faux chenille finish. The foot has a raised metal bar in the center front that allows more thread into the stitch as you sew, producing long loose stitches, while the large opening on the back of the foot allows the stitches to pass freely. 1. Remove the machines presser foot and presser foot ankle. 2. Attach the Fringe Foot to the machine securing it with a screwdriver. 3. To create seams with the loops intact, select zigzag stitch. 4. Sew a single row, or multiple rows. 5. To create eyelash fringe, select an overedge stitch.The locking stitches at the sides will hold the stitches in place after trimming the loops.Use a pair of thread snips and cut the loops open. Guidelines are also marked to ensure accuracy when turning corners. 1. Snap on the Parallel Sewing Foot 2. Thread the machine. Decorative threads may be used for the upper threading. 3. Select a decorative stitch. 4. Use a fabric marking pen to draw a line to indicate the center of the stitching. 5. Place the fabric with stabilizer under the Parallel Sewing Foot, aligning the drawn line with the center marking on the foot. 6. Sew the first row of stitching 7. Reposition the fabric to the left or right using the red lines on the foot to determine the desired distance between rows of stitching. 8. Stitch subsequent rows using the red lines on the foot as a guide while stitching. 21
