Basics Charging the battery Before using the Mono Bluetooth™ Headset MBH10 for the first time, you need to charge the headset for approximately 2.5 hours. Sony chargers are recommended. To charge the battery 1 Plug one end of the USB cable into the charger (or into the USB port of a computer). 2 Plug the other end of the cable into the Micro USB port on your Mono Bluetooth™ Headset MBH10. Turning the headset on and off To turn on the headset • Press and hold down the Power key until the notification light turns green. To turn off the headset • Press and hold down the Power key until the red notification light flashes once. Pairing the headset with compatible devices Before you can use the headset, you need to pair it with a Bluetooth™ compatible device, for example, a phone. There are two ways to pair the headset: manually, and automatically using NFC. After successful pairing, the headset connects to the Bluetooth™ compatible device as soon as the headset is turned on and within range. After that, you can also pair the headset with a second Bluetooth™ compatible device in the same way. To manually pair the headset with a Bluetooth™ device 1 Make sure the Bluetooth™ device has the Bluetooth™ function turned on. 2 Turn off the headset. 3 Headset: Press and hold down the Power key until a green notification light starts flashing rapidly. 4 Bluetooth™ device: Scan for Bluetooth™ devices, then select MBH10 in the list of available devices. 5 Bluetooth™ device: Follow the pairing instructions that appear.
