When your phone changes network, and the time sent out from the operator deviates from the time in your phone, you are asked whether you want to update the time. If you press Y E S , the time is automatically updated. To turn the Automatic Time Zone on or off 1. Scroll to Settings, Y E S , Time and date, Y E S, Time settings, Y E S , Auto time zone, Y ES . 2. Select On or Off and press Y E S . Date When the phone is in standby mode, you can slide the volume key up or down to see today's date in the Status menu. To set the date format 1. Scroll to Settings, Y E S , Time and date, Y E S , Date format, Y E S . 2. Select a date format and press Y E S . To set the date 1. Scroll to Settings, Y E S , Time and date, Y E S , Set date, Y E S . 2. Enter the date according to the format you have chosen and then press Y ES . Flip settings The flip of your phone is active, which means that you can answer a call or voice dial by just opening the flip. To change the flip setting 1. Scroll to Settings, Y E S , Flip functions, Y E S . 2. Select Answer call, Answer&Voice or Off and press Y E S . Master Reset You can reset the phone's settings to the way they were when you bought your phone. To reset the phone 1. Scroll to Settings, Y E S , Master reset, Y E S , Reset settings, Y E S . 2. Enter the phone lock code (0000) or the number you have changed it to. See "Changing the phone lock code" on page 102. Press Y E S . Note: The Reset all option deletes all contacts, e-mail messages, text messages and WAP settings. Personalizing Your Phone 29
