Its TFT active matrix LCD screen delivers incredibly sharp images with an extremely wide viewing angle...all in an elegant, lightweight design. Using Digital Multiscan and Digital FlexRes™ technologies, the CPD-L181A will produce crisp, clear, full-screen images in a variety of resolutions-up to 1280 x 1024 at 85 Hz-without the jagged appearance common when using an LCD panel outside its native resolution. These unique Sony technologies give the L181A a greater level of flexibility on the desktop. Just over 8" deep and under 20 lbs., the CPD-L181A requires a fraction of the desk space normally associated with 18.1 inches of viewable image. And, if more room is required, the display's tilt base can be removed easily for arm or wall mounting. The CPD-L181A is also easy to configure. Using the Auto ImageSet feature, set image position, phase and pitch with the touch of a single button, saving time and letting users quickly take advantage of all this unique display has to offer.
