"Memory Stick" Operations Recording a picture from a tape as a moving picture To stop recording Press START/STOP. Note Sound recorded in stereo is converted to monaural sound when recording from tapes. When the access lamp is lit or flashing Do not shake or strike the camcorder. Also, do not turn the power off, eject the "Memory Stick" or remove the battery pack. Otherwise, the image data may be corrupted. Titles already recorded on tapes You cannot record the titles on a "Memory Stick." The title does not appear while you are recording a moving picture. The data code recorded on the tape This is not recorded on the "Memory Stick." The camcorder records a new date and time when the recording on the "Memory Stick" is made. During recording The video control buttons do not work. Recording a moving picture from other equipment Before operation Set DISPLAY to LCD in the menu settings. (The default setting is LCD.) (1) Set the POWER switch to VCR. (2) When using the A/V connecting cable, set VIDEOINPUT to the appropriate position depending on the player. (3) Play back the recorded tape. The image from the other equipment is displayed on the screen. (4) Press START/STOP at the point where you want to start recording. To pause or cancel recording Press START/STOP again. 129
