Sending images to a smartphone (One-touch sharing (NFC)) 1 Install the latest version of PlayMemories Mobile on your smartphone. Note: Movies recorded in AVCHD format cannot be sent to a smartphone. iOS 4.3 ~ *One-touch functions (NFC) are not available Android/iOS not supporting NFC Android supporting NFC (One-touch sharing)  Playback an image to be sent to the smartphone.  MENU button  1 with   [Send to Smartphone]  [Select on This Device].  Select [This Image] with /, then press .  The SSID and password are displayed, and the camera is ready to be connected with the smartphone.  Playback an image to be sent to the smartphone.  Select [Settings] on the smartphone, then select [More...] to check that [NFC] is enabled. (This is only necessary the first time.) SSID Password Android  Start PlayMemories Mobile.  Select the SSID displayed on the camera.  Input the password displayed on the camera (first time only). iOS  Select [Settings] on the smartphone, then select [Wi-Fi] and select SSID displayed on the camera.  Input the password displayed on the camera (first time only).  Confirm connection to the SSID displayed on the camera.  Start PlayMemories Mobile. DIRECT-xxxx:DSC-xxx  Touch the smartphone to the camera.  Canceling sleep and the screen lock of the smartphone beforehand.  Make sure that the (N Mark) is displayed on the screen of the camera.  Continue touching without moving until "PlayMemories Mobile" starts (1-2 seconds).  Touch the N mark of the smartphone to (N Mark) of the camera. If there is no N mark on the smartphone, refer to the instruction manual of the smartphone for the touch area.  When not well connectable by NFC, see "Android/iOS not supporting NFC". 3 Images on the camera will be sent to your smartphone. Note: The sent image is stored in Gallery of Android, or Album of iOS. You can monitor the image to be captured and shoot with your smartphone.
Select MENU

[Ctrl with Smartphone] on the camera in step 2 to set
up the camera, or touch the N mark of the smartphone to
(N Mark) at the
bottom of the camera.
Communication distance: Approx. 10m/33ft (line-of-sight)
Note: Communication distance may vary, depending on your surroundings/
smartphone.

2 Select an image on the camera to be sent and connect a smartphone to the camera.

Select [Settings] on the smartphone, then select [More...] to check that [NFC]
is enabled. (This is only necessary the first time.)
Touch the smartphone to the camera.
Canceling sleep and the screen lock of the
smartphone beforehand.
Make sure that the
(N Mark) is displayed
on the screen of the camera.
Continue touching without moving until
“PlayMemories Mobile” starts (1-2 seconds).
Touch the N mark of the smartphone to
(N Mark) of the camera. If there is no N mark
on the smartphone, refer to the instruction
manual of the smartphone for the touch
area.
