Deleting/Editing images Your camera cannot delete an image. • Cancel the protection (page 34). • Set the write-protect switch on the "Memory Stick Duo" to the recording position (page 83). You have deleted an image by mistake. • Once you have deleted an image, you cannot restore it. We recommend that you set protection on an image (page 33), or set the write-protect switch on the "Memory Stick Duo" to the LOCK position (page 83) to prevent accidental erasure. You cannot display a DPOF (Print order) mark. • You cannot display DPOF (Print order) marks on movies. Computers You do not know if the OS of your computer is compatible with the camera. • Check "Recommended computer environment" on page 47 for windows and page 60 for Macintosh. Your computer does not recognize your camera. • Turn on the camera. • When the battery level is low, install the charged batteries, replace the batteries with new ones, or use the AC Adaptor (not supplied). • Use the supplied USB cable. • Disconnect the USB cable from both the computer and the camera, and connect it again firmly. Make sure that "USB Mode Normal" is displayed (page 50). • Set [USB Connect] to [Normal] in the (Setup) menu (page 44). • Disconnect all equipment other than the camera, the keyboard and the mouse from the USB connectors of your computer. • Connect the camera directly to your computer without passing through a USB hub or other device (page 50). 75 Troubleshooting
