x Installing the "PMB" (supplied) You can install the software (supplied) using the following procedure. When you install "PMB," "Music Transfer" is also installed. • Log on as Administrator. 1 Check your computer environment. Recommended environment for using "PMB" and "Music Transfer" OS (pre-installed): Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional SP4, Windows XP* SP3/Windows Vista SP1* CPU: Intel Pentium III 500 MHz or faster (Recommended: Intel Pentium III 800 MHz or faster) Memory: 256 MB or more (Recommended: 512 MB or more) Hard Disk: Disk space required for installation-approximately 400 MB Display: Screen resolution: 1,024 × 768 dots or more * 64-bit editions and Starter (Edition) are not supported. 2 Turn on your computer, and insert the CD-ROM (supplied) into the CD-ROM drive. The installation menu screen appears. 3 Click [Install]. The "Choose Setup Language" screen appears. 4 Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation. 5 Remove the CD-ROM after the installation is complete. 41 Connecting to other devices

Installing the “PMB” (supplied)
You can install the software (supplied) using the following procedure. When you install
“PMB,” “Music Transfer” is also installed.

Disk space required for installation—approximately 400 MB
Display:
Screen resolution: 1,024 × 768 dots or more

Turn on your computer, and insert the CD-ROM (supplied)
into the CD-ROM drive.
The installation menu screen appears.

Click [Install].
The “Choose Setup Language” screen
appears.

Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the
installation.

Remove the CD-ROM after the installation is complete.
