However, back space editing is possible using the optional DSRM-10 Remote Control Unit. The transition from cut to cut may not be smooth when performed over a DV recording made on a different DV or DVCAM deck. In between scenes where the recording format is changed from DVCAM to consumer DV format, the transition may not be smooth either. This is a normal and expected phenomenon. The audio reference level is fixed to -12 dB at DV(SP) recording.
