Grouping for digital wireless system Guidance on the use of a multi-channel system using digital wireless system When building up the system with digital wireless devices only, channel intervals can be fixed. No special calculations are necessary to avoid intermodulations. Set channel intervals to 375 kHz or more. When building up a multi-channel system, Sony recommends that one of the following groups is selected to avoid mutual interference from other Sony wireless microphones/transmitters: - Groups D1 and D2 are for using 12 channels of transmitting frequencies in one TV channel. - Groups D5 is for using 24 channels of transmitting frequencies in two TV channels. Notes • The reliability of this channel plan is assured when the RF power output of the transmitter/microphone is 1 mW or 10 mW and distances of transmitters/microphones are 30 cm (11 7/8 inch) or more. • When the distances between transmitters and microphones need to be closer than the distances above, use a grouping system for multichannel systems that include both digital wireless and analog wireless devices. Guidance on the use of a multi-channel system using digital wireless system
When building up the system with digital wireless devices only, channel intervals can be fixed. No special calculations are necessary to
avoid intermodulations. Set channel intervals to 375 kHz or more.
When building up a multi-channel system, Sony recommends that one of the following groups is selected to avoid mutual interference
from other Sony wireless microphones/transmitters:
Groups D1 and D2 are for using 12 channels of transmitting frequencies in one TV channel.
Groups D5 is for using 24 channels of transmitting frequencies in two TV channels.
• The reliability of this channel plan is assured when the RF power output of the transmitter/microphone is 1

• When the distances between transmitters and microphones need to be closer than the distances above, use a grouping system for multi-
channel systems that include both digital wireless and analog wireless devices.
