The folders and files are displayed on the computer screen as shown. The folder indicators in the display window of the IC recorder are as follows: : Folder for messages recorded using the IC recorder (They have been already made when you purchase the IC recorder.) : Folder transferred from a computer (They are displayed when music files have been transferred from a computer.) P Note You can record messages in up to 10 folders (FOLDER01-10) using the IC recorder. *1 The name of a folder in which music files are stored will be displayed on the IC recorder as it is, so it is convenient if you put an easy-to-remember name on the folder in advance. Folders shown in the illustration are examples of folder names. *2 The IC recorder can recognize up to 8 levels of folders copied to the IC recorder. *3 If you copy music files separately, they are classified as being in "No Folder." z Tips • You can change the folder name, title, artist name, and/or file name using a computer. • The title or artist name, etc., registered in the music files, can be displayed on the IC recorder. It is useful if you input the ID3 tag information using the software you use to make the music files on your computer. • You can display the information in sequence by pressing v or V on the control button (page 89). P Notes • You cannot copy 511 or more folders (except VOICE folders) or files to the root directory that is located immediately below "IC RECORDER" on the computer. This is due to system limitations (for ICD-UX200/ UX200F only). • If no title, or artist name has been registered "Unknown" will be displayed. 86 GB
