Watching two programs at one time PIP The Picture-in-Picture (PIP) feature allows you to watch both the main picture and a window picture simultaneously. You can also watch two TV channels at one time. FREEZE -CH +/- (yellow labeled button - POSITION AUDIO 0 0 0 SWAP PIP TV/VIDEO (yellow labeled button) Use the yellow labeled buttons for PIP operations. Displaying a window picture Press PIP. PIP Main picture , Input-source mode or TV channel for the main picture 6 6 Window picture (1/9 size) P Input-source mode or TV channel for the window picture Press PIP again to display a smaller window picture. Main picture 6 PIP 6 Window picture (1/16 size) To remove the window picture, press PIP again. Notes • The widow picture may be affected by the condition of the main picture. • If the main picture is not receiving an image, the window picture may be in black and white. • The widow picture sound is also output from the AUDIO (VAR/FIX) OUT jacks when you listen to it. 22-EN Operations Changing the window picture input mode Press TVNIDEO (yellow labeled button) to select the input mode. Each time you press TV/VIDEO (yellow labeled button), "TV," "VIDEO 1," "VIDEO 2" and "VIDEO 3" appear in sequence. TVNIDEO 6 VIDEO 1 GO' 20, Note • If you connect your VCR without a cable box, your PIP input source is a VCR. If you connect your VCR with a cable box, your PIP input source is a VCR or cable box. Changing TV channels in the window picture Press CH +1- (yellow labeled button). TVNTR +0 oCH - VIDEO 1 6 VIDEO 1 7 VIDEO 1 8 Listening to the sound of the window picture Press AUDIO. The ".f"' display appears next to the PIP channel number for a few seconds, indicating that the window picture sound is being received. AUDIO VIDEO 1 6 The sound of the window picture is received. To restore the main picture sound, press AUDIO again. The "J"" display moves to the main picture channel number.
