'Some programs are broadcast with Caption Vision. When you select Caption Vision with the DISPLAY button, Caption Vision will he displayed on the screen if the broadcaster offers this service. (See page 32 for selecting Caption Vision.) To cancel the display, press DISPLAY repeatedly until "DISPLAY OFF" appears. "DISPLAY OFF" goes off after three seconds. Setting the Sleep Timer The projection TV stays on for the length of time you specify and then shuts off automatically. Press SLEEP repeatedly until the time (in minutes) you want appears. Each time you press SLEEP, the time changes as follows: 30 60 ---) 90 -+ OFF. SLEEP "SLEEP" appears about one minute before the projection TV shuts off. To cancel the Sleep Timer, press SLEEP repeatedly until "SLEEP OFF" appears, or turn off the projection TV. The sleep timer is also cancelled when you select AUTO PROGRAM under the SET UP menu. Watching a video input picture Press TVNIDEO repeatedly until the desired video input appears. Each time you press TV/VIDEO, the display changes as follows: TV ---. VIDEO 1 VIDEO 2 -*VIDEO 3. TVNIDEO To return to TV picture, press TV. Changing the VHF/UHF input to the AUX input Press TV. "AUX" appears beside the channel number. TV Pressing TV again switches back to the previous input. 18-EN Operations Watching two programs at one time PIP The Picture-in-Picture (PIP) feature allows vou to watch both the main picture and a window picture simultaneously. You can also watch two TV channels at one time. POSITION CH +/AUDIO A O O -- PIP -- SWAP TV/VIDEO FREEZE Displaying a window picture Press PIP. Main picture PIP Input-source mode or TV channel for the main picture Window picture (1/9 size) Input-source mode or TV channel for the window picture Press PIP again to display a smaller window picture. Main picture 6 PIP 6 Window picture (1/16 size) Each time your press PIP, the size of the window picture changes as follows: 1/9 size 1/16 size OFF. To remove the window picture, press PIP repeatedly until the window picture disappears.
